Overview

This is an AI-powered language learning tool with three core features:

Check text for grammar and spelling errors, get correction suggestions

Supported Languages:

Main Screen

Mode Cards

The home screen displays three mode cards. Click any card to enter that mode:

Card Description
Proofread Grammar correction, spelling check, error analysis
Translate Text translation with language points
Learn Vocabulary, grammar analysis, usage explanations

Quick Access

Two quick access buttons at the bottom:

  • History - View past processing records
  • Settings - Configure app options

Settings Page

General Settings

Setting Description
Theme Interface theme: Light, Dark, or System (follows OS)
UI Language Interface language: English, ็ฎ€ไฝ“ไธญๆ–‡, ะ ัƒััะบะธะน
AI Response Language Language for AI response display
Default Proofread Language Default source language for proofreading
Default Translate Source Default source language for translation
Default Translate Target Default target language for translation
Default Learn Language Default language for learn mode
Detail Level Analysis depth: Minimal, Standard, or Deep

AI Configuration

Action Description
Add Configuration Add a new AI service endpoint (name, API URL, key, model)
Use This Service Set an AI config as currently active
Edit Modify existing AI configuration
Delete Remove an AI configuration

AI Config Notes:

  • Supports OpenAI-compatible APIs (Groq, OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
  • API keys are encrypted and stored securely
  • If only one AI config exists, it will be automatically set as active
  • Ensure AI service is properly configured before use

Getting AI API Keys

You can access AI services through cloud providers or local deployments. All services use the OpenAI-compatible interface format.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Local AI Deployments (Privacy-first, Offline)

Run large language models locally and connect directly without cloud keys:

Local services usually don't require an API key. Just enter the Base URL and select an available model.

  1. Language - Select the text language to check
  2. Detail Level - Analysis depth
  3. AI Response Language - Language for displaying results
  4. Input Text - Enter text to proofread
  5. Context (Optional) - Provide context for better accuracy
  6. Submit - Run check
Results: Corrected text, change summary, error details, related language knowledge

  1. Source Language - Language of text to translate
  2. Target Language - Language to translate into
  3. Detail Level - Analysis depth
  4. AI Response Language - Language for displaying results
  5. Input Text - Enter text to translate

Results: Translation, alternative translations, language points, grammar analysis

FAQ

No AI Config on First Use

When entering Proofread/Translate/Learn mode without an AI config, you'll see a warning: "Please configure AI service in Settings first". To fix:

  1. Click OK on the warning
  2. Go to Settings โ†’ AI Configuration
  3. Click Add Configuration
  4. Fill in AI service info (name, API URL, key, model)
  5. Save - the config will be automatically set as active

Proxy Settings

If you need a proxy to access AI services (like Groq), the app will automatically detect system proxy settings.

UI Language Not Applied

If setting the UI language doesn't take effect:

  1. Fully quit the app
  2. Restart the app
